Polythene Recycling Program in Sri Lanka – Pilimathalawa Sanasa Bank-Kandy
Polythene bags recycling training program was conducted by Leafy Ground with Mrs. Dilani Samanthika in 2019.02.23. This program was organized by Sanasa Bank in Pilimathalawa in Sri Lanka on behalf of unemploying housewives. A large number of unemployed women participated in this training program. Here, we were able to teach how to recycle polythene bags by making various products. Furthermore; we emphasized that this is a great way to make money with waste polythene bags/plastic bags. This program was conducted as a fully-free workshop for everyone. Guidance and training were made by Mrs. Dilani Samanthika and Mr. Prasad Madura Sri Abhayarathne Leafy Ground.
